When: Friday, October 28. 5:30pm – 6:30pm

Deadlines:
- Aug 15th – Idaho Top 50 Author Awards opens for applications
- Sept 26th Extended to OCT 13th- Final day to turn in application
- Oct 7th Extended to OCT 20th- Top Authors are notified of Award
- Oct 28th – Award Ceremony
How do I enter?
Return the application/nomination form by emailing it to IdahoBookExtravaganza@gmail.com or mailing it to Banner Bank Building, Idaho Book Extravaganza, 950 W Bannock Street, Suite 1100 Boise, ID 83702
Who can enter?
Authors of any level who are Idaho residents, with at least one book published between Jan 1st 2001 – Sept 30th 2011. Don’t be shy to apply for this Award it’s for everyone.
When are the Top Authors notified if they won an award?
On or around October 7
Can I apply if I have an eBook and not a print book?
Yes, you may apply or be nominated as an Idaho Top Author with a print or eBook
What is the judging process?
This is a contest based on both the strength of the author and their writing. A select committee will judge on professionalism of book(s), cover design and overall background of the author.
What is the cost to apply or nominate someone?
There is NO cost to apply or nominate an author. However you must send a copy of your best book to be eligible. Book will not be returned.
Do authors currently have to live in Idaho?
To be awarded as an Idaho Top Author the Author, has to reside in Idaho at the time the application/ nomination is submitted.
If I receive an award, do I have to be at the awards ceremony?
Authors receiving an award are highly encouraged to be at the awards ceremony on Friday October 28, 2011. However if there is no way they can attend the awards ceremony, you will be able to claim your award in person at the Idaho Book Extravaganza office Monday November 7 or Tuesday November 8, 2011
